Act 3: Scene 216

by Paulie Rhyme & King Rem

Stand Off 03:46
Summertime 03:03
Hourglass 03:48
Act 4 03:16

Reconnecting via social media a few years back. King Rem and Paulie Rhyme put together a project as an ode to the hometown, but also reflective of the times. Recording right after Paulie Rhyme has relocated to Handa, Japan, the lyrics not only reflect transition, but also the trials and tribulations of being a Black man in the world. And while current topics dominate the subject matter, there is also time to reflect, and jewels that can be grabbed and reflected on. King Rem weaves a jazzy, soul driven backdrop with the production and also add to the conversation of where we are and we we can go. Contributions by Dj Gordo Cabeza and C. Mayes add perfectly to the presentation and while the project is only 7 tracks deep, we are confident that those 7 tracks will have to pushing repeat for some replay.

Thanks for time and feel free to pass it on.
